MER - Bodywork,

Intro Workshop - 2 days

LONDON ENGLAND
JANUARY 24-25, 2026

event summary

The Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) technique is a unique hands-on technique of deep bodywork created by Satyarthi Peloquin. It addresses physical pain symptoms as well as the related emotional and psychological issues creating tension and stress in the body. MER harnesses the body’s natural ability to heal through breathwork, touch, movement and presence. The result is better body alignment and more emotional awareness, enabling clients to live more conscious and active lives.

During this training, you will discover how deep work on the fascia combined with active client participation can loosen old tensions as well as dysfunctional behavioral patterns. You will learn how to work with the autonomic nervous system through the fascia and how to tap into our natural ability to release trauma.

What are you going to learn?

Every person is a unity where everything is interconnected — and fascia plays a vital role in this harmony. This intelligent tissue supports, connects, protects, and communicates information about how we feel inside. Understanding fascia and how to work with it through deep bodywork can open the door to profound healing and transformation.

This introductory workshop is open to both therapists wishing to expand their skills and newcomers curious to discover the Myofascial Energetic Release approach.
During the weekend, you’ll explore the principles and science behind MER and learn hands-on techniques you can immediately integrate into your professional or personal practice.

You will also explore:
• The body’s innate capacity for self-healing
• How to work with the autonomic nervous system
• Body reading and its use in a session
• Elements of deep touch — depth, speed, duration
• The importance of posture, breath, and verbal guidance
• Active meditation and client participation

Expect a deeply practical experience, exchanging sessions and insights to feel firsthand how this work transforms both giver and receiver.

This workshop serves as an introduction to professional modules of MER taking place in the Leela  Centre in Gillingham, Dorset.

Meet the teachers Team

Ulla & Ketu form a dedicated team of body therapists bringing depth, warmth and decades of bodywork experience. They will bring together the MER trainings in the UK.

Ulla is a dedicated body therapist from Denmark, known for her deep curiosity and compassion understanding others. Since 2006, she has worked full-time in her private practice, meeting each client with personalized care. Initially trained as a cranio-sacral therapist, she later incorporated tantra into her work. Inspired by Satyarthi Peloquin, Ulla embraced Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) and now specializes in it. She’s passionate about helping people achieve both physical and emotional health through her heart-centered approach to bodywork.

Ulla’s path in bodywork began in 2005 with Cranio-Sacral Therapy, a practice she honered for years before exploring tantra in 2011, which she now integrates into her work. Her fascination with the healing power of the fascia and nervous system led her to study Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) under Satyarthi Peloquin, assisting him in workshops across Europe. Ulla is passionate about using her hands and heart to guide clients toward health and balance, always striving to create meaningful, individualized connections.

Ketu Bo trained as a therapist with Veeresh Yuson in the Osho Humaniversity in the Netherlands,  specialising in emotional awareness, bodywork, dance and movement. Next to being a  Humaniversity therapist, he is a Postural Integration practitioner, MER (Myofascial Energetic  Release) practitioner, a Postural Alignment Specialist (Egoscue postural therapy) and a NARM  (Neuro Affective Relational Model) practitioner.

Ketu has a profound interest in the connection between mind, body and soul. Drawing from 30  years of working in the human potential movement as a group leader, bodyworker, trainer and  therapist, Ketu has the experience, knowledge and skill needed to help newcomers get started with  bodywork, as well as teaching practicing therapists how they can improve their game.

Together, Ulla and Ketu share a profound interest in the healing power of the body–mind connection. They guide clients and students alike with skilled hands and open hearts, offering a space where health, balance and authentic transformation can emerge.
